Public Law Care Proceedings If social services decide to take such matters to court they may seek an order to share parental responsibility with the parent and may use that responsibility to remove the child into foster care. Alternatively
social services may seek a Supervision Order to offer advice and assistance
and to befriend the child. If court proceedings are pursued then social
services will have a lawyer of their own.

“I was made to feel at ease from my first meeting with the receptionist through to the secretaries, solicitors and barristers at court. I felt that I was listened to and everything was explained to me in a language that I could understand. I would recommend White & Co for anyone needing advice or help with court proceedings about their children.” Essex Resident |
